Notes

'Blaze' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Blaze') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast and stands erect. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Melampodium, Cosmic Orange cosmos, Hollyhock, and Red fescue.
