Notes

'Bleu Brulee' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Bleu Brulee') is a perennial for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun. Plum purple buds open to sky blue to lavender-blue flowers with a red and burgundy center. Blooms can look pinker in hot summer climates. It is late to emerge in spring, so mark its spot in the garden.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Sea holly, and Mountain mint.
