Notes

'Blue Angel' clematis (Clematis 'Blue Angel') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give this tall climber a trellis or other support.

Pairs well with Alina rose, Alpine aster, and Beauty of Cobham spotted beebalm.
