Notes

'Blue Candle' small camas (Camassia 'Blue Candle') is a bulb for borders, cottage gardens, meadows, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Light violet-blue flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 37 inches tall, and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Nodding onion, and Royal fern.
