Notes

'Blue Marlin' snow crocus (Crocus chrysanthus 'Blue Marlin') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The flowers have white to palest lavender interiors, an orange center, and grape purple striped petal backs. They open earlier than the large Dutch hybrids and bloom in early to late spring. You can plant it in a lawn, but hold off mowing as long as you can so the bulbs build energy for next year.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Little Beauty tulip, Dalmatian bellflower, and Sensitive fern.
