Notes

'Romance' snow crocus (Crocus chrysanthus 'Romance') is a bulb for borders, containers, and naturalized drifts. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Pale yellow flowers open in early to late winter and early to late spring. Bees visit the blooms. It stays about 3 inches tall, so plant it up front where you can see it. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Ostrich fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
