Notes

'Blue Nile' rose (Rosa 'Blue Nile') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Georges Delbard bred it in 1980. The fragrant mauve blooms appear in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the upright plant has large, dark green leaves.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Jackmanii clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
