Notes

'Blue Rose' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Blue Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The deep rose blooms are large, full double, and sweetly fragrant like a rose. Eugene H. Lins bred it, and the color carries more blue than other peonies.

Pairs well with Tickseed, Garlic chives, and Witch hazel.
