Notes

'City of Haarlem' Spanish bluebell (Hyacinthoides hispanica 'City of Haarlem') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clump and grows at a rapid pace. The pale blush violet flowers open in early to late spring. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Sensitive fern, and Miss Kim lilac.
