Notes
'Bokraspiwi' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Bokraspiwi') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching form blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Obsidian coral bells, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Pink Impression tulip.
