Notes

'Wine & Roses' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Wine & Roses') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its arching form reaches about 47 to 59 inches tall and wide, and hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. You can plant it where you want an easy, low maintenance shrub.

Pairs well with Snowcap Shasta daisy, Russian sage, and Siberian iris.
