Notes

'Wine and Roses' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Wine and Roses') is a shrub for borders, hedges, specimen planting, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Rose pink flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. The arching branches grow wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Ornamental onion, and Catmint.
