Notes

'Bordeaux' rose (Rosa 'Bordeaux') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The wine red double blooms are fragrant and have hints of raspberry and citrus. It blooms again through the season and tolerates heat. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2014.

Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, Cornflower, and Star magnolia.
