Notes

Bosnian pine (Pinus heldreichii) is an evergreen tree for specimen planting, accents, borders, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly into an oval shape and tolerates salt. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give it plenty of room to spread.

Pairs well with Autumn Gold maidenhair tree, Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, and Mount Hood daffodil.
