Notes

'Boubri' silk tree (Albizia julibrissin 'Boubri') is a multi-stemmed tree that grows fast. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant flowers open in spring and summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Umbrella tree, Fountain grass, and Tiger lily.
