'Bowl of Love' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bowl of Love') is a perennial for containers, borders, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. It stays more compact than Bowl of Beauty, with stems just over two feet tall. The anemone-type flowers have carmine pink petals cupping a ruffled pale yellow center. They bloom in early to late spring and have a wonderful fragrance.
Pairs well with Blanket flower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Red Riding Hood tulip.
