Notes

'Bressingham Beauty' astilbe (Astilbe rosea 'Bressingham Beauty') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It forms a clumping mound 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Columbine, and Bottlebrush buckeye.
