Notes

'Bridal Icing' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bridal Icing') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pure white blooms have cream undertones and a slight fragrance. They open in early summer on plants about 28 to 30 inches tall. Carl G. Klehm bred it, and it was introduced in 1975.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Japanese spirea, and Sensitive fern.
