Notes

'Bright Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Bright Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roger F. Anderson bred it. Single yellow flowers with rose-pink flares open on upright, mounded plants and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Bobo hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
