Notes

'Bright Knight' peony (Paeonia 'Bright Knight') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms extra early with large single scarlet flowers that have an orange tint. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Lyman D. Glasscock bred it.

Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Little Beauty tulip, Sedge, and Baby's breath.
