Notes
'Bronze Beauty' bugle (Ajuga reptans 'Bronze Beauty') is a perennial for ground cover, shade gardens, rock gardens, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. It spreads fast as a creeping evergreen mat, so give it room. Bees and butterflies visit its blooms in spring and summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
