Notes

'Bulla' peony (Paeonia 'Bulla') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early single flowers are dark pink with white petal edges and frilled guard petals. Plants reach about 32 inches and stand upright, so they need no support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Creeping phlox, and Switchgrass.
