Notes

'Burgundy Lace' tulip (Tulipa 'Burgundy Lace') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Dark purple-red blooms open from early to late spring. The plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall, so they make good cut stems for a vase.

Pairs well with Spring Green tulip, Menton tulip, and Royal Standard hosta.
