Notes

'Menton' tulip (Tulipa 'Menton') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It opens purple-red blooms from early to late spring. The flowers rise on stems about 24 to 36 inches tall, so they work well in a vase.

Pairs well with Ballade tulip, Burgundy Lace tulip, Fringed bleeding heart, and Geranium daffodil.
