Notes

'Burgundy Seduction' autumn sage (Salvia greggii 'Burgundy Seduction') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Dark magenta-red flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn on arching stems, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Goldenrod.
