Notes

Cabbage rose (Rosa centifolia) is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant medium pink flowers open in spring and again in summer. Thorns line the bushy stems, so plant it where you will not brush against it. Camden Park introduced it in 1843.

Pairs well with Lavender, Cat mint, Foxglove, and Ornamental onion.
