Notes

'Calico Jack' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Calico Jack') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. The blooms are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
