Notes

'Campagna' peony (Paeonia 'Campagna') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white blooms are single deep goblets with greenish shadows and slightly fringed, crinkled petals that attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Autumn Frost hosta, and Charles Joly lilac.
