Notes

'Canadice' grape (Vitis 'Canadice') is a vine for low maintenance gardens and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Greenish flowers open in late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It can reach 15 to 20 feet tall and wide, so give it a strong fence or arbor to climb.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Blue grama, and Pincushion flower.
