Notes
'Reliance' grape (Vitis 'Reliance') is a vine for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its greenish flowers are fragrant, and bees and birds visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Give the long stems a strong support.
Pairs well with Climbing hydrangea, Briar rose, and Feather reed grass.
