Notes

'Beta' grape (Vitis 'Beta') is a vine for food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Its greenish flowers are fragrant and open in late spring and early summer. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The vine grows big, so give it a sturdy trellis.

Pairs well with Rhubarb, Lingonberry, and Thalia daffodil.
