Notes

'Cantario' rose (Rosa 'Cantario') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant, medium red blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn, and bees visit them. The compact habit stays under 24 inches tall. Noack Rosen introduced it in 2006.

Pairs well with Green Velvet buxus, Blazing star, and Switchgrass.
