Notes

'Cape Cod Boys' Siberian iris (Iris sibirica 'Cape Cod Boys') is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It forms a clumping mound 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in spring and summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Brookside crane's-bill, Lady's mantle, Roma greater masterwort, and Sensitive fern.
