Notes

'Cappuccino' black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta 'Cappuccino') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stands upright up to 30 inches tall. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The red-orange and yellow flowers have dark brown centers and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
