Notes

'Carl G. Klehm' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Carl G. Klehm') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The full double blooms are cream with cherry-red stripes, and the streaking varies with each flower. They open in early summer on strong stems. Roy G. Klehm bred it in the mid 1980's.

Pairs well with Hairy aster, Black Hero tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
