Notes

'Caroline Rose' peony (Paeonia 'Caroline Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, creamy white single flowers have slightly waved petals and orange stamens, and strong stems hold them up in wind and rain. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Anne Oveson introduced it in 1996.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Charles Joly lilac, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
