Notes
'Carousel' peony (Paeonia 'Carousel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its fragrant, bright pink blooms have dark flares and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1963.
Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Jeana garden phlox, and Pink Impression tulip.
