Notes

'Carrara' tulip (Tulipa 'Carrara') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Its white flowers have yellow anthers and open from early to late spring. The stems reach about 22 inches tall, so they work well in a vase. E.H. Krelage & Son bred it.

Pairs well with Bridal Bouquet peony, Ernest Markham clematis, Fanal astilbe, and Little bluestem.
