Notes
'Cathie Ann' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cathie Ann') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flower gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms are a deep rose pink and sit on tall stems. They make an ideal cut flower. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.
Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
