Notes

'Cattleya' astilbe (Astilbe ×rosea 'Cattleya') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. It bears rose flowers in late summer and early autumn, so it adds color late in the season. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 30 to 36 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.

Pairs well with Lakeside Paisley Print hosta, Interrupted fern, and Catawba rhododendron.
