Notes
'Celway Red' celosia (Celosia argentea 'Celway Red') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The erect plants grow fast and bloom in rich cranberry-red, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It handles dry spells well, so it suits hot spots.
Pairs well with Vinca, Hyacinth bean, and Mister Frans dahlia.
