Notes

'Centurion' peony (Paeonia 'Centurion') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant red double flowers face upward and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Curly Fries hosta, Switchgrass, and Little Beauty tulip.
