Notes

'Cérisette' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cérisette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a medium, upright clump with rose-pink blooms in early to mid spring. The flowers have cerise shading and green undertones, and they are fragrant. Buds come in clusters on reddish green stems.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Sensitive fern.
