Notes

'Chaminade' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Chaminade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink flowers have a Japanese form with an all yellow center. Tall, stiff stems hold the blooms well, which makes them good for cutting. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Cinnamon fern, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
