Notes
'A.L. Chapin' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'A.L. Chapin') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers have a Japanese type form and are white with pink tones. Yellow staminodes sit in a regular Japanese type center, surrounded by five or six rows of guard petals.
