Notes

'Charisma' rose (Rosa 'Charisma') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant blooms open scarlet and gold and age mostly to red. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Robert G. Jelly bred it in 1977.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Jackmanii clematis, and Ornamental onion.
