Notes

'Cheddar Elite' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cheddar Elite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, Japanese type flowers are pure white with a neat gold center. Blooms open in early summer on stems with good strength. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Sensitive fern, and Spanish bluebell.
