Notes

'Cheddar Pom Pom' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cheddar Pom Pom') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. A double row of white guard petals frames a pom-pom ball of twisted gold staminodes. The blooms are fragrant, and the stems are strong enough to hold them up. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Royal fern.
