Notes

'Cheddar Supreme' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cheddar Supreme') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant blooms have large white guard petals around a golden-yellow center. They open in early summer on strong stems that reach about 33 inches tall. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Sensitive fern, and Picture tulip.
