Notes

'Cherokee Star' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cherokee Star') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in early to late summer and has a fragrant scent. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
